When one quilt is finished a new one is ready to start (don’t think about all of those UFO’s we have shoved into drawers and containers). I have a lot of new things to share with you. The website has been getting a make over and I am finalizing the longarm services portion. If you have visited the website in the past, I’d love to hear your feedback on the changes, and anything you feel is missing to help you with your quilting journey.
New! Longarm Rental Services
Coming in November, I will be offering rental time on my Innova 22” Longarm for you to complete your quilts. I will also be offering quilting services for those who want someone else to do the quilting for them. If you have been attending block of the month workshops, and have piles of beautiful quilt blocks anxiously awaiting their opportunity to be sewn into a beautiful quilt – these services are for you. Sign up for my newsletter so you will be the first to know when these services have been added.
Join my new Facebook group
I’ve launched a Facebook group, Quilting with David Gilleland, where you can get help with things you are getting stuck on, join in live videos, learn from me and your fellow quilters, and share your quilts. I hope you will join me there. It will be a fun place to look and learn about all things quilts!
See you in Houston!
I am off to Quilt Market and Quilt Festival in 2 weeks. I am totally excited about that and hope you stop by the booths and say hi. As an ambassador for Batik Textiles, I am pleased to say I will joining them at Market in booth #2100, and for Festival you can find me in my own booth (#1108).
It’s a Quilty Pleasures Party
Last, but certainly not least, together with Red Hen Stitch Shop, I am throwing a party to celebrate new classes and new patterns. Mark your calendars for Saturday November 11, 2017 from 2:30pm until 5pm at Red Hen in Marietta, GA. There will be snacks, lively coversations, cool giveaways and, of course, quilts. Stop by and say hi, see my newest quilts in person and learn more about upcoming classes. Joining me there will be special guests, Lynn Rinehart and Pamela Cobb from The Stitch TV.
